A neat way to finish off your cable installation is by using these Brush Face Plates.
They use a standard size UK wall outlet plate format and are available in either Single Gang or Double Gang sizes.
Fix it to the wall over the spot where your cables exit the wall.
Simply put the cables through the soft brush strip.
It neatens the appearance of all you cable exit points, and is especially useful where you have a pre-made cable (scart leads and HDMI leads etc) coming out of the wall to connect to various bits of kit.
